Funding history
FLUME’s development has been made possible by a combination of investment by the founders, together with three rounds of Angel/ Friends & Family investment as well as grant support; an MRC funded Elizabeth Blackwell ‘Proof of Concept’ award and an NIHR ‘Research for Patient Benefit’ award to fund first in human evaluations at Bristol.

looking ahead
We will consider the potential for further Angel funding in Q4 2025. This alongside requests to grant exclusive distribution licences to strategic industry players with the interest and capacity to make FLUME catheter a reality for patients in their region.
